The Chesterfield Metro Youth Football League (CMYFL)  was established in 1998. We are a non-profit co-sponsored organization of Chesterfield County, Virginia. Our operational revenue is generated by means of member registration, organized fundraising, private donation, and sponsorships.   The CMYFL is a youth football and cheerleading league for children from 5  - 14 years of age. We are a member of the Metro Youth Football League of Henrico County.   The CMYFL Giants play by Virginia High School Rules. Anyone carries the ball and everyone plays. A MAJOR CHANGE THIS SEASON: We will field 2  varsity teams (Giants, Eagles) in each of the 4 divisons:  Flag, Pee Wee, Midget, and Junior. Both sets of teams will practice at the same field. However, on game days, when the Giants are home the Eagles will be away and vice-versa  Our season schedule consists of four home games and four away games. All games are played on Saturday and begin at 9:00 a.m. with the last game ending at approximately 6:00 p.m. Home games are played at George Washington Carver Middle School off of Harrowgate Road and away games require travel to different locations. CMYFL Giants practices are conducted at George Washington Carver Middle School. We practice Mon thru Fri 6 - 8:00pm (FLAGS til 7:30PM) Once the school year begins, practice will be Mon, Tue and Thurs. (same times) IT'S ALL ABOUT THE KIDS!
